Susan Pischke’s story is one of reflection, transformation, and the quiet courage to love more deeply. Through writing, she began retracing the many versions of herself, from Suzie, the wide-eyed dreamer of her youth, to Susan, the seeker and mother, and finally to Sue, the woman who spent forty-seven years behind the chair listening, learning, and caring for others through her craft.
When she set down her scissors at the end of 2023, it was not to stop creating but to begin again. Today, she writes and speaks about the power of love to heal, to connect, and to awaken what has been forgotten. Her journey is not about becoming someone new but about remembering who she has always been.
